Zach Cusson is an emmy-nominated visual journalist and documentary filmmaker. His works spans a variety of subject matters including police abuse, abortion access, and child labor.
His career began in the ad-agency world where he directed, shot, and edited documentary style content for non-profits, government agencies, and start-ups. He has spent the past five years with the Scripps News Investigates team where his work has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Science, The Society of Professional Journalists, and the Online News Association.
Through his cinematography and editing, Zach aims to break down the barriers the divide us. In a world where thoughts are too often plagued by polarization, he hopes to offer a perspective that is grounded in reason, authenticity, and truth.
When he doesn’t have a camera on his shoulder, Zach is usually walking his dog, in the climbing gym, or figuring out the next esoteric book to read.
